How long on each boob?

My daughter is almost 3 months. She recently started refusing the boob if I have on a nipple shield. Bummer. It’s been going fine (she is my second born) but she is really fast. Like she is done sometimes after only 6-8 minutes on each boob. With the shield it was more like 10-15. Wondering your experiences. How long does your baby feed??

Never used a nipple shield but when my daughter was around the same age she started to need less time to nurse. Some kids are just very efficient and/or you have a good let down/milk flow

I could have written this 😂 My son is 3 months old and doing the same thing. He usually are around 15 minutes with a shield but suddenly started refusing it out if the blue and only eating 5-7 minutes. I think it's just easier to get the milk out without the shield

11wks today. It ranges but typically she’ll only nurse from 1 side for 20-35 minutes. Using the shield slows down your milk flow

My LO got down to 3-4 minutes on each side 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe the milk flows faster without the shield?
