My 28 week moms have you been having Braxton Hicks contractions !? Daily

Question

I’ve been having them since I turned 25 weeks. But now that I’m 28 weeks today it has gotten alittle stronger and lasting longer. I have a scheduled appointment later today and I will let her know but idk if I should be worried I can’t recall having them sooo soon with my other two kids.

I didn't have them with my eldest, but I've been having them with this pregnancy from about 24ish weeks (now almost 27) 
Mentioned it to my midwife the other day and she said they start a little later in first pregnancies usually, and can start earlier in subsequent pregnancies. X

I have these phases where I get contractions that last about 40 seconds or so, every 3 minutes, for an hour or longer. 
I ASSUME there aren’t many changes to my cervix because I haven’t seen any mucus, but I have an appointment Thursday and will tell em about it.

I’m not sure, I think not but I may not recognise them. Reason why the latter might be the case is that I had an appointment weeks ago and while being checked my dr saw me having Brixton hicks and I didn’t know/feel it 🤷🏻‍♀️ (mental note: ask next appointment how they feel 😅)

Yes 🙋🏻‍♀️ same here! BH started at 25 weeks everyday since then I’m at 29 now. My dr said to count them and if I have more than 6 in an hour to stop what I’m doing and lay down, drink water and relax. If in the next consecutive hour I have more than 6 again then I have to go into Labor & delivery. I made it to 7 in one hour today but they really calmed down once I laid down. Just out of curiosity is this your first? I have a 1.5 year old that I stay at home with and I feel like this pregnancy has been harder on me because I’m with her 24/7
