Too scared!!

Ok so I am absolutely terrified of giving birth and it’s right around the corner for me (I’m 38+3). Im having a vaginal birth but one thing I’m so scared of is something going wrong and I need an emergency c-section. I don’t want to be put to sleep! Do they always put you to sleep for an emergency c-section or not? It’s literally the worst thing for me!

I’m scared of loads of other things too but that’s one thing I seriously don’t want to happen I will actually freak out!

So yeah that’s my question - if you have to have an emergency c-section, do they always put you to sleep for it?
