How to get a job at my local hospital...

So I am currently on mat leave and due to go back in July. But I really do not want to return back to that job. Iv wanted to work at my local hospital for a while now as just a general healthcare assistant but I do not know were to start.. iv looked online, asked about and have gotten no were. I also dont have any experience in this career so I'm kind of at a loss here 🤷‍♀️
