Is this a cold sore? (9 months old)

Question

Neither me or my husband have ever had one and they’re not common in either of our families so I’m not sure where she could’ve got it from if it is. 
She fell this morning and lightly banged her mouth, so when it was a little red earlier I thought it was just that but now it’s starting to look like a spot with some yellow in the middle? 
Can anyone help (it’s on top lip on her left, our right as you’re looking at her)

No that's not a cold sore. A cold sore has a bunch of small nlister like sores clustered together. I get them sometimes and that doesn't look like one from this picture. I might be wrong because im not a dr and i cant see it that well so just keep am eye on it and if it doesn't clear up in a a day or 2 call her dr for an appointment.

Definitely not a cold sore it's probably yellowing from the fall she had and its gonna bruise. She's fine I'm sure but of course if it looks worse and not normal definitely ask your doctor what to do.
