Mucus plug 21 weeks pregnant

Hi so I’ve had this cm/ mucus plug looking thing twice today. I haven’t felt the baby kick at all today. Anyone else experience this? The midwife said not to worry unless I start having contractions but Dr google is saying some pretty scary stuff.
