Have you taken your LO to the dentist yet?

If you have, what happened in the first visit? Do you have any tips?

I won’t until she’s about 3. Sooner if you have concerns but I work in a dental office that’s generally the age we start seeing kids

He just looked at her teeth, felt what he could under the gums to make sure everything was working it's way up (he didnt say that specifically, but that's what he made it sound like) also told me she has good spacing and most likely wouldn't need braces when she gets older

From what my dentist said, they don’t really do a cleaning at this age. They just look over them and make sure the parents are doing well with brushing and then do interventions for tooth decay from milk or juice at night. My regular dentist said they didn’t accept kids until 3 and as long as we were brushing right, not using a paci, and not giving milk at night we were good. 
He just got in 4 teeth last month bringing him to 7 total. Our doctor said to wait about 6 more months.
