Bed sharing with 2 kids

For those that bed share, how did it work when you had baby number two? I currently bed share with my 1.5-year-old and when I have a second baby (hopefully within the next year and a half), I would like to bed share with both of them. I would plan to start my newborn in a bassinet beside my bed for the first 3 to 4 months, and then transition to the bed. My concerns are…

1) A newborn wakes A LOT. Will this be super disruptive for my toddler since we’ll all be in the same room?

2) Once I have 2 kids in the bed with me, how do I keep my toddler from rolling onto the baby? Is this an unsafe arrangement? Have any others done this?
