I’m calling on the village today

I’m in need of that village it takes to raise a child... I’m tested today.

My baby is 10 months and going through a meal that’s a pretty ugly one. He’s constantly whining and if he falls on his bottom or bumps his head or being put down he’s crying and I’m going a little nuts

I’m also trying to pack for a move out of state and I’m wrapping my breakables in packing paper and he cries when I rip or crumple the paper and when I have to tape a box he cries.

I’ve tried talking calmly saying it’s ok while I do it and even giving him a piece of the paper and he just cries. My husband hold him and talks to him about what I’m doing and he’s not having it.

The majority of the time it’s just my baby and I while husband is working.

I feel like nothing is getting packed or cleaned because I have to do it very slow and quietly while baby is napping. I try when he’s awake too but like I said he gets upset at the noise.

We don’t have any family or friends anywhere close to us so no one can watch him or distract while I do this.

On top of that I hired someone to pull my weeds before we move. Not a lot just small ones scattered everywhere. They ended up spraying something and not pulling any weeds. I told the guy again and he said no one has ever asked me to pull weeds that would take all day 🤦🏻‍♀️

Extremely limited on time, budget, and patience.
