Is this normal

My boyfriend doesn’t ever text me anymore. When we first started dating he would text me cute things, and sweet things.

We have been hanging out a lot lately but when we part ways he literally never initiated conversation. Is this normal? I feel like the reason why I liked him so much was because of his personality through text and how he was sweet to me. I don’t really understand why he doesn’t like texting anymore hardly at all. And I am beginning to lose interest (I know, that’s bad) he told me that he isn’t on his phone much.. which I know is bs because he’s always active on Instagram and when we hangout he is on his phone more than not.

In person we are completely fine. It just seems like he distances himself when we aren’t physically together. And we have only been together for 2 months.....
