If my cervix never thins out? I’m 38 weeks , 5 cm dilated but my cervix is still thick and long . Hospital keeps sending me home because I’m bot in active labor but I am miserable. Anyone else gone through this ? What will happen if my cervix never thins out?

Try inserting evening primrose oil up the vagina. It will thin out your cervix. I do two up there every night last time I was checked it was 40% effaced that was last Saturday. I’m gonna up the dose tonight cuz tomorrow I’m taking the midwives brew and inducing myself.

where i am from 4 cm is active labor and they can't send you home ...they would have to induce you because the risk for infection ￼ ((it's different for everybody else in a different State ￼))￼... try walking alot and having intercourse to speed the process￼ along

I am currently 5 cm and at 37 and 5. I’ve had my bloody show and have irregular contractions. I’ve been sent home from the hospital too and my doctor isn’t concerned so I guess I just have to wait it out 🤷🏻‍♀️
