Ok so i have three kids a 12 year old competitive wrestler, a five year old son, and a 7 week old baby girl. My son has been training harder than ever this year including double practices,2 hours each and lifting four days a week and weekend tourneys. I was always very involved including helping to run one of the wrestling clubs. Well this has been his best year so far ( he's working for scholarships to pennstate and is also an honor roll kid) i have missed all the big tourneys because i can't take baby girl out in public with sick season. After multiple years he finally qualified for states this year ( that's huge) but it's five hours away and 2 nights and three days. My mom had been an rn with the pediatric specialists for 33 years so baby is more than safe with her. It's really important to my son, after all his work, that his brother and i are there too not just dad. Im torn though about leaving her for so long but bringing her is dangerous and not going will hurt my son after ive missed so much already. I feel like i have to choose between my kids. I also don't want to miss it plus she won't remember this and he will. I just don't know if emotionally it will be ok for her or i to be apart that long. Help please!
