Why does my cat keep doing this?

Why does my cat keep scratching himself?  He only does this on his face and by his ears and as soon as the wounds heal completely he is back at it again. He is 7yrs and has been doing this for about a year.. ever since I had my baby... Could it be that? Doctor  says no flees ...   Any thoughts?

If he is on cheap / low quality food, that could be causing him skin issues.
It could also be stress or anxiety, try using Feliway products around the house and see if that helps 😊

My cat does this from time to time, she has multiple allergies & due to the itchiness from the histamine reaction she "gets stuck in a loop" of obsessively scratching the itchy spot. Itchy spot starts to heal, scabs, but then the scab itself itches, so she restarts the cycle! I've had to even get her an e-collar so that she can really heal!

It could be stress or maybe allergies. My cat does it too. There is a shot my vet gives that lasts for 3 months that seems to help. It’s called depo, I think.

My dog does it to her ear she been doing it since I adopted her and I have no idea why.. might be stress
