My mum and I have been having a lot of problems lately. My brothers girlfriend has recently moved in and my mum loves her. She spends a lot of time talking to her, and laughing at almost everything she does. I feel like mum isn’t as interested in me as she used to be (I’m the only daughter with three brothers), we used to be really close. For some reason I can’t stand to be around mum any more because it makes me upset and she doesn’t seem to be as interested as she is in my brothers girlfriend. She acts differently around her too and is a lot nicer then she is to me. It’s been going on for about 9 months since she’s moved in.

Every time I try talking to her about it makes her more upset. I don’t know what to do.

Any advice?
