Screen time?

Do you let your almost 1 year old have any screen time? I know this is a controversial topic so just use the poll please & be respectful of other parenting styles :)

I just have the tv on for background noise. She doesn't really pay attention to it

Yup my son loves Sesame Street it’s all he will watch. When we put tv on for him. He is not interested in anything else that we’ve tried so far. 
I also let him watch it in the car when he gets fussy.

No. I save tv for after his bedtime. If Daddy is just wanting noise on then he will put on Moving Art. Oncein a great while we will play a video game or something and so the tv is on. 
My husband gets lost in tv and video games. Before TC was born we agreed that for as long as possible we will try and avoid screen time to encourage us to be active and engaged (not saying others aren't just that my husband knows he isn't and we wanted him to be more present with baby)

I put Dave and Ava for her and she loves it . But not more that 15-20 minutes. Other than that I  put good music. She will start waving when the music starts. And will start playing. 
I think giving screen time while having food  or they know if they cry they will get to see tv. Is a bad influence I know plenty of kids who won’t even eat if there is no tv. They won’t get into car seat if there is no cartoon on mom or dads phone. Just have to be careful how they connect things. 
They are way smarter and knows how to makes us do stuff they want 😂

He sees some sesame st and Daniel tiger when my 2.5 yr old is watching, but mostly he’s too
busy to be interested.

We watch a short cartoon sometimes and we see music videos almost daily because she LOVES music! When we're all sick it's usually a lot, but in a normal day it might just be the five minutes before food is ready and she's hungry and mad 😂

We let her watch Dave and Ava for maybe 30 minutes max a couple times a week. So far that’s the only show that actually keeps her attention. Sometimes mom just needs a little bit of a break.

Mine likes the channel Simple Songs on YouTube. I play it for her on the tv when both my husband and I need to get ready for parties or going out. It’s helps keep her happy while we are rushing around.

Yeah, mine likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Disney movies. Sometimes he pays attention,  sometimes he doesn't .

Sometimes it’s the only way I can get her dressed and motioned up for bedtime, but it’s about 2.5 mins of cat videos and that’s it.
