Crib bumper pads safe at 9 months?

Hi ladies! My daughter is 9 months old and she’s moving around a lot more in her sleep so she’s been hitting her head on her crib and waking herself up a lot. So I need opinions, do you all feel like bumper pads at this age are safe?? Thanks!

Crib bumpers are never safe. They are slowly but surely becoming outlawed in the US. NY state was the first to ban them completely.
Baby will learn the boundaries of the crib. A bump on the head is much safer than suffocation or strangulation.

They aren’t safe unfortunately. Baby will learn boundaries. Not only are they a strangulation and entrapment risk, baby can use them to climb out of the crib. Idk how mobile your baby is, but my 9 month old so trying to climb everything!
