How do I steam apples for baby led weaning?

I don't have a fancy baby food steamer like google mentioned. Can I get suggestions as to how long I steam it, do I slice then steam?

Just slice them and put them in a pan on the stove with a little bit of water and cover it. The length of time will depend on your stove and how many apples are in there. Just keep checking every few minutes.

you could put the slices in a sieve, put it over a pan of simmering water and put the lid on to make a steamer. the sieve would have to be metal though.

You could also just boil them. That’s how we do it.

We use a lot of tinned fruit apple, peaches and mango are her favourite. There’s no additives in the ones I buy just fruit in juice/water.
