Would you be ok with Grandma nickname “Mama”
I took my 3 month old down to visit my MIL last weekend and she was telling my baby she was “mama” and that’s what she wanted go by and my FIL is “papa”.
When I heard I instinctively said “woah wait a minute.” And she said “what? You’re mommy.”
My first question is would you be ok with her going by mama? Am I in the wrong for disliking that? When talking to my baby I call myself momma instinctively.
Second question, does anyone have any good grandma nickname suggestions I can give as an alternative??
