Am I wrong to be annoyed ?

2 weeks ago I gave birth to twins. My husband was very helpful and all things. 
Some days ago, he( us) got invited to engagement party. He went. He didn’t even asked, if I want to go or if it’s ok he will go. 
I understand, that I can’t go because of c section and babies, but at least ask if I want to go. 
I’m I’m wrong to be annoyed at him?
Should I say something when he is back? Or just let it go.

Think I'd be annoyed at being left, 2 weeks after your csection, when you have 2 babies to look after!
Was hard enough doing it with 1!!
Not enough rest will also make the healing take longer.
My sons dad was useless, and I didnt heal for about 10weeks!

No I don't think you're wrong for being annoyed. I would just simply say that you wish you would have maybe thought of you in his choice of going. And even though you can't go to the thought of them asking you if you would like to go would have been nice. Or just ask even if you would need help at home with the babies.

I would be hurt that he went without asking and without considering your feelings. But it’s just a party. Explain to him how you feel so you don’t dwell and then move on. 
I wouldn’t mind my partner going without me, but I definitely would expect him to run it by me first and make sure I’m okay with it all.

I don't think you're wrong at all! If my husband did that I'd be so angry, I'd be like "we both made these babies and I've gone through surgery to get them here safely for me and them and you want to swan off out?!" Men can be so stupid

I accidentally said you’re wrong but you’re not. I know I was so overwhelmed with my one baby I couldn’t imagine taking care of twins 2 weeks pp. for him to not even ask if it’s ok and to leave you to take care of two newborns by yourself is fucked up.
