Stop swaddling?

Has anyone transitioned out of the swaddle yet? I know it’s supposed to be until your baby rolls- mine rolled from his front to back (to escape tummy time, lol) but not sure if that counts since its not front to back. He’s only 11 weeks this weekend, seems too soon to stop swaddling :/

We stopped when he was too long to fit in the swaddles from the hospital about 1 month or so. We used grow bags/ sleep sack instead.

We started with transitioning one arm out at a time alternating arms and yesterday did arms out for all naps and he slept better. He hasn’t rolled yet but gets to his side a lot so it made me nervous and he fights to get his arms out if he wakes up slightly. I still swaddled for bed last night though because he was fighting sleep and that helped.

I was told from day 1 not to swaddle. The safety recommendations where I live are that arms are always out.

We’re starting the transition.   Still using swaddle sack but trying arms out tonight for the first time.   She’s been sleeping 11.5 hours for 2 weeks now so really hope this doesn’t change that 🙏

Our daughter rolled from belly to back a few times to also escape tummy time but that’s it. If she was rolling back to belly I’d start transitioning her out of it because that’s where your major concern lies ( because obviously you should be laying your baby on their back to sleep and if they can roll back to belly, if their swaddled, they can’t get their arms out to roll back or adjust). But since she’s only rolled from her belly to her back a few times out of the anger to get off her belly I still swaddle her.

We are still swaddling at 11 weeks. I use the love to dream swaddle for his daytime naps so he has a little freedom with his arms, but for night time we still use the swaddle me velcro swaddles since he still startles. No signs of rolling yet so we are in the clear for now!

They need to be able to roll from back to front or to show signs or rolling from back to front. Until then you are good to swaddle, though I believe 3ish months is when they stop having thr morro reflex. My plan is to start the transition during nap time so hopefully nighttime sleep isnt so broken.
