Sonohystogram vs. Hsg

I just had both, sonohystogram yesterday and hsg today. I know I was searching through posts to see what everyone experienced before going in so I thought I would share my experience. As for the pain, I thought the sonohystogram hurt more! It felt like a big period cramp and honestly, I cramped more later on that night. I took tylenol an hour before that one. I took naproxen an hour before the hsg because I was more worried about the pain with that one. The hsg wasnt painful at all, I think the most pain was from the speculum actually. It was very quick and luckily I didnt have a blockage on either side so I guess that could be why. I hope this helps!
