My first was around 45 minutes, second and third were always power nursers, rarely more than 10 minutes but until a month old, I would encourage them and try to keep them on for at least 15 minutes.  My 6 month old literally only nurses for 5 minutes now and takes 4 oz in that time according to weighted feeds.

My son was a super lazy eater. It would take 30-40 minutes for him to finish feeding from each breast so basically I was constantly feeding him.

30 minutes solid each time 😒 I’m sure I’ll miss it someday, but it has taken some getting used to.
