Hi everyone, I’m currently 21 weeks even. I found out at 20w5 days that my cervix was only measuring 1.1cm with significant funneling. My dr has started me on progesterone, and has scheduled a cerclage placement for Monday morning. He has told me multiple times how dangerous it is, and that he could strip the membranes and cause my water to break. I am absolutely terrified, my little girl is extremely healthy and I’m so scared I could lose her during this surgery.
