Devastated and confused
I was diagnosed awhile back with PCOS. In the past year-2 years I have working really hard on my diet and my health. I have been to many appointments for my PCOS including ultrasounds. I don’t have any cysts and my period is fairly regularly anywhere from 30-40 days. I was being very strict with my diet and my cycle started being 28-30 days. However I slipped up on my diet a month ago, not even that bad but I had some diary while away (just for a week) and started eating bread again. The last time I had a period was December during Christmas. I have had the twinges of cramps, sore breasts, fatigue and irritable. I’ve taken a pregnancy test and it came up negative. Could the change in diet really cause my cycle to get this messed up!? My husband thinks I’m pregnant and my mother does too. In my gut I know I’m not. I just feel hopeless and helpless right now and I don’t know what to do. If I’m not pregnant that is ok, I just want my period to come.
