i want to tell my best friend of 13+ years that i have HSV type 1. There are, however, a few things stopping me.

His partner and i dont really get along that well and i’m worried that when i tell my best friend, He’ll go tell his partner and they’ll tell other people and it then spreads around to people i dont know or trust.

the only reason i want to share this with him is because he’s constantly talking about me getting with guys and just having flings with people and then on the other hand also wants me to have a relationship because i’ve been single for so long. i have been single for 4 years and had HSV for 2 years.

i’m just feeling pressured into being in a relationship or to find a man, and i think i feel that pressure more because its not easy starting a relationship with HSV. im worried about falling for someone and then them just leaving simply because i have herpes. its so mich more complicated and less easy.

what should i do?
