Nap duration?

My baby has been sleeping total of 2-3 hours for naps lately and it seems like it’s too much? She wakes up at 5 am each day and I read takingcarababies that if babies wake up before 6 it means too much nap, so do I just drop it to one nap and if so, how do I do it? She will cry so much when I don’t allow her to nap..

My daughter takes an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.  She has been waking up between 6:30 and 6:45, which is really too early for me 😂 since shes still waking up a lot at night,but if I make her naps shorter then her wake windows are too long so I’m just dealing with it

We always cap the first nap at 90mins and the second is usually 2 hours. I wouldn’t drop the second nap they don’t usually do that until well after a year baby will be super cranky lol

Wake her up from naps earlier. Most babies still need 2 naps at this age, but make each one shorter.
