I was diagnosed with PCOS back in July 2019 after getting off bcp only to not have a period for 6 months. My dr put me back on and also prescribed me Metformin. I have since gotten off of the pill and switched to Metformin ER, (78 days ago). I haven’t had a period since, but I have had cramps the past week or so. Is there a chance I may finally get my period or could there be something else going on? The don’t feel the same as before, but they’re in my lower abdomen. I’ve also lost about 15 lbs since my diagnosis.
