Ovulation and late period?

So my periods are usually early. However, today is the first day of my missed period. I done an early pregnancy test on 18.02.2020 , which showed negative. If my period is late would that mean I have ovulated later than predicted? Also is there still the chance I could be pregnant giving I tested early and could have ovulated earlier?

I’m aware this could be considered a dumb question, but I’m a paranoid person and prefer to hear others opinions. Please no judgements 🙈🙈
