Lochia smells off... normal or no?

I’m 4 weeks postpartum. The bleeding has stopped but I have excessive lochia it is nude in color, looks like snot and tissue. But the smell... it smells like a rodeo, not exactly sure how else to explain it. Is it normal for it to smell bad? I haven’t had sex or taken a bath I am extremely dizzy and tired but I don’t have a fever.

NO ONE TOLD ME HOW HORRIBLE IT WOULD SMELL AFTER. I thought something had died in there. I was told it wasn’t that bad, but I have a crazy sensitive nose. I actually ended up calling the dr about it, and was told that it was normal.

It’s called lochia alba and it’s totally normal as you describe.

Maybe you have BV or something? I'd probably go see the doctor to be safe.
