Fussy period?

Anyone’s baby hit the 5 week mark and just change personalities? He went from a very calm baby to just absolutely fussiness. He fights his naps which adds to his fussiness and he’s basically inconsolable . Going 2 weeks with this, anyone else have this happen? Please tell me its the newborn fussiness that peaks at this age haha

download the wonder weeks app. its scarily accurate and helps you understand what’s happening during each growth spurt/leap. There are a few tips on there with dealing with each leap. This might not be useful to you, but i find it helps me deal with my LO when i understand why she’s fussing.

Our baby girl has been fussy since about 3 weeks and is now 5 weeks (so going on our third week of a LOT of daytime fussiness including a couple hours of inconsolable crying a handful of days).  Our pediatrician said that her fussiness should peak this week and next with her developmental milestone and 6-week growth spurt and then she should start to become more happy.  All we can do is hang in there at this point!  We got this!

Mine hit that 5 week mark and all he broke loose. 6w and 6d is when he FINALLY started to calm down. It is for sure the "peak fussiness" because he is for sure staying awake longer. We have the double dose of peak fussiness and growth spurt here.

We got to three weeks and he turned into a crying machine. Now at almost 6 weeks and it’s still going 😩 Hoping he settles soon. I feel like I’m just constantly rocking him to sleep so he’s quiet! 😂
