Is it worth it to wax the “moustache”?

I think my peach fuzz “moustache” has grown darker over the last year. I’ve noticed it a lot more. ESPECIALLY in harsh lighting. But, I’m afraid that if I wax it, it’ll come back darker. And I’ve already been down that rabbit hole with my chin hair😭. If it helps, I have thick dark coarse hair in general. Also, I’m no longer on any contraceptive pills.

the only issue i’ve had with waxing is getting small bumps/whiteheads on my upper lip, which can be frustrating. i use a removal cream that i much prefer!

Waxing is fine but shaving it at home works too if youxre short on cash. The myth about it growing in thicker isn't true (or least is very, very rare for it to happen). The reason that's a myth is because it grows back choppy and uneven so it can appear darker or thicker. Hope this helps love 🤗

Waxing isn’t going to make your hair grow darker and it won’t make more hair grow. We only have a certain amount of hair follicles and just bc you wax, you’re not find to get more of them (: 
They also won’t get thicker bc you’re pulling the hair from the root vs shaving which will just chop of the surface lvl of the hair, so when it grows back, it will grow back stubbly if you shave but doesnfhappen w/ waxing! 
I honestly think it’s worth it. I just buy the sensitive wax strips and do it myself. It takes 5 minutes for me to do and I save a lot of time and money just doing it myself lol. I used to hate my peach fuzz but now I don’t have to worry about it haha

Its a myth that it comes in darker and thicker. Waxing will actually damage ypur follicles and eventually you wont need to wax because hair wont grow there anymore
