What's wrong with my menstrual cup?

Hey ladies, I need help. I began using a cup this cycle and this is my third day trying it, I've watched videos on how to insert it and make it open and the times I have inserted it I have successfully gotten it to open and catch blood, it's comfortable inside me the only problem is that at the opening of my vagina I can feel the tip and it's bugging my wall on one side. I have measured my cervix and I have a pretty high cervix so I got the lily cup so I don't think size is a problem, I have used a shorter cup before and it was too short. I've cut the stem a bit and the pain is less but I can still feel it right at the opening of my vagina and it hurts when i walk. I've tried lube to make inserting easily because I have a sensitive opening and it helps with inserting but not the stem pain. I've also tried pushing it up higher just in case but it won't budge and I feel it pop open so I don't think that's it, should I cut it more? The last rig? Also the stem stays against the left side of my vagina pressing against my wall and it hurts, should I try to insert it at a different angle or position to get it right in the middle instead of pressing against one side? Please help!
