How to style hair??

Question

Do any one use a product in their baby’s hair? My boys hair is getting long.  it looks nice when it’s combed but I’m not sure if I should use gel to hold it or what! 
Is there a gel safe for baby’s?

I just use his baby lotion after bathtime and sometimes when I'm getting him dressed to restyle it. He has a natural widow's peak so that always wants to go down, so I just use a little Aquaphor (that I keep everywhere)

to style it back up and put on his dry cheeks.😄

I'm going to start using conditioner, sometimes, my son wakes up like this...

And sometimes he wakes up like this...

I have no idea what else to do but try and use conditioner. I'm not gonna try gel yet because I just feel like he is too young and has too little hair for something that heavy.
