Medicaid cover NICU?

I had pregnancy Medicaid for insurance and my daughters staying in the NICU now. Do they cover that?

I’m in Colorado. My entire pregnancy was covered, and they also covered all of my hospital stuff, and my baby’s stay in the nicu.

I live in SC and they covered the NICU stay but did NOT cover formula and a few other things they gave my son in the NICU because it wasnt considered "necessary" even though I was in a hospital over an hour away and couldn't breast feed until he was about a week old.

As in state insurance? If so, then yes. My son had over one million dollars in medical bills between surgeries, the NICU and PICU. Everything was covered.
