Third Time Moms: How long after "dropping" did you go into labor?

K.A.S • Boy mom x3 Girl mom x1

I'm 37 and 4 with my 3rd baby. With my older two I remember feeling baby slowly move into my pelvis but dont remember ever really feeling a specific drop. I was induced at 40 weeks with my first and 40 and 6 with my second. But I've been having some pain in my pelvic muscles today and I just sat on the couch for a few to relax. I felt a lot of burning pain in my pelvic muscles and decided to take a bath. I stood up and immediately felt like the baby is much lower. I feel like I have so much space near my ribs and walking up the stairs it felt like a bowling ball in between my legs. I know they say in subsequent pregnancies most people don't drop until close to the start of labor. Was this actually true for anyone?
