Pooping while in labor ?

This is probably a stupid question, but am I able to poop while I’m in labor. I’m in the 1st stage. Contractions every 15-20 min. I need to poop so bad but idk if I can or not😭. Obviously this is my first pregnancy 😂. But any answers, please & thank you !

Just go! Nothing will happen besides poop. And maybe labor will speed up if you’re lucky!  Poop your little heart out!

As long as you aren’t straining to poop, you should be fine. Your going to poop anyways as the baby descends down the birth canal

Sometimes the feeling of wanting to push baby feels like needing to poop. So... be careful.

I pooped a ton right before I had my son. You're body is just trying to empty everything out. You're not close enough together in contractions to be concerned about the baby coming out yet.

Yes you can poop. My friend told me she labored on the toilet because it was most comfortable for both of her kids
