Easier labor?

I'm almost 36 weeks & got checked today at my appointment, next Friday I'm getting induced and was wondering if there's anything I can do to help soften my cervix/dilate naturally because nothing is going on in there! Lol

I don’t know how true this is, but one of my old coworkers told me that semen weakens the cervix (I’m assuming she meant make it softer) and said that it helps deliver the baby faster??? I have no idea if this is even the slightest bit true lol. But hey, sex is fun too 🤣
