Hey ladies! I'm confused on what I should do in this situation and hoping I could get a few perspectives from you all. My family has a history of endometriosis.(grandmother and mother had hysterectomies due to endometriosis, older sister (26)and I (25) diagnosed with it currently) However, with that being said, my mother believes that's a fancy medical term for painful periods. This year I've been estranged from my family because as I grow older I'm realizing how neglectful my parents actually were with me and my siblings.

Current situation: I have a recently turned 18 year old sister that is has been experiencing everything my older sister and I have when it comes to endometriosis pretty much since she began her menstral cycles. I keep telling my younger sister she NEEDS to see a gynecologist. I can't do anything to help since she lives in Fl and I live in TX. My mother tells her to take Ibuprofen and a nap.

I don't know what I should do or even if I could do anything in this situation and its really upsetting to receive phone calls from my younger sister WHILE she's in school saying how much pain she's in. I haven't spoken with my mother since early December last year.
