Does your newborn(mine is 3 weeks) sleep with a hat on?

Mine is the about the same age and cannot keep a hat on to save his life. I don't put it on while he sleeps because I get nervous it'll come off and the hat will cause him to suffocate. I'm just neurotic like that. lol.

They regulate their body temperature through their heads, so I was told not to have a hat on baby when she sleeps (except when we go out and it’s cold). Hats can make them overheated at home.

We also have a fan on in the room to keep it cool so babe wears a hat, it’s usually off when he wakes up
