Is it possible to remove sperm from vagina after intercourse?

Might be a dumb question. But I heard about the softcup method where you insert a softcup after intercourse to hold the sperm and semen in your vagina. 
Last night after we BD I layed in bed for 20 minutes, went to the bathroom to clean up and inserted a softcup. When I did a lot of fluid came out so I thought it was pointless. So I took it out. But then when I took it out I saw a bunch of fluid in the cup so I reinserted it! 🤦🏼‍♀️ And then I decided I didn’t want it so I took it out again! 😫
So is it possible that I screwed something up?! 
It might be stupid but I really need some feedback just to calm me down. I got a positive opk last night too so I feel like I totally screwed our chances this month.

Sperm gets where it goes in seconds.
What comes out is the seminal fluid that carries the sperm. It’s supposed to come out.
There’s no need to hold the semen inside you.
I got up immediately after sex, peed and showered every time and still got pregnant.

The 20 minutes after sex would have been long enough for the sperm to get on their way. I doubt you "suctioned out" any that were any good so don't worry about it! 😊 Good luck

The soft cup is pointless, and especially after 20minutes. U do not need to lay there after sex. The only thing ur holding in with the cup is semen and it’s supposed to come out of your body. The sperm were where they needed to be long before u put that in.

You don’t need to lay down after sex. By the time you get up to pee, the fastest sperm will have already made its way up through the cervix. Anything that falls out immediately after sex or when you get up to pee wouldn’t have made it through your cervix anyway.

Sperm gets to where it needs to go really quickly, so you don’t need to do this. Also please don’t insert, remove, and reinsert the same softcup, you could get an infection!!
