Wedding Party - bridesmaid or photographer?

My best friend happens to be a photographer. She was talking like she wanted to take the pictures at the wedding (which I am completely ok with! She takes excellent photos and she is sooooo easy to work with). But we have been friends for years and would love her to be my bridesmaid as well. I have someone who I am close with and she would be fun to have as a bridesmaid, but I’m just not sure. She would be great to have in the wedding and I wouldn’t regret it one bit, but I’m torn between my best friend being my bridesmaid or my photographer. Any suggestions?
