Neon green poop?

My baby is two weeks old tomorrow and last night he seemed to be having tummy aches. His poop up to now has been brown or yellow but I just changed him and it’s NEON green. I use breast and formula is this normal?

At that age Green poop signals they have an upset tummy. If it’s a once off I wouldn’t worry too much but if it happens again or if they seem like they’re in pain I’d have a chat with your doctor. It’s often a common indication of an allergy or intolerance (eg if you eat/drink dairy, eggs or other common allergen foods and then breastfeed them).

It could be his tummy is irritated by something he's eating. Either from you, or the formula. My baby gets upset tummy and green poops if I have too much dairy.
