Did you have a hard time conceiving for the second time?

My first baby was a surprise and we conceived her a few days after our wedding (we waited to have sex). I'm wondering if our next child will also be conceived easily or if it will take us longer. What are your experiences? Did you conceive one child easier than the other?

Both were planned, when we were  TTC our first we got pregnant our first cycle trying which ended as a miscarriage and then got pregnant again the following month and now she's 2

my current pregnancy we got pregnant our first day trying, my husband had been away training for the army, he graduated on my last fertile day for my cycle and we concieved that day, I'm now 28 weeks pregnant!

Our first was difficult. We tried for almost a year then had a miscarriage. Tried for about 2 months and had another loss. We finally got a sticky bean in march 2014 and she was born 15 weeks early. When we decided to ttc again, we got pregnant the first try and I am now 25 weeks with a boy💙💜

Our first was a surprise and happened within a month of dating 🙈 Currently 28 weeks pregnant with #2 and we were TTC for almost 2 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS tho last year so that definitely made it a lot harder.

Both of our children were planned. It took 10 months to get pregnant with our first and 4 months to get pregnant with our second.

I've heard it's easier to conceive your second but honestly I've heard so many stories, both sides to this, and I think it really just depends on the situation and the person. I know of two separate couples. One couple tried for 3 years for their first. Ended up with a beautiful baby girl after 2 rounds of IVF. Got pregnant on the first try with their second, naturally. The other couple got pregnant naturally with their first on the third try and it took them 2 years to conceive their second. So like I said, it just depends. Pregnancy is a weird science/miracle. You just never know.

I wouldn't say #2 was hard, but when our first was a first try, our second took about 5 months of trying. But I was still pumping, and I heard sometimes when you're breastfeeding, you can have a period but not ovulate. Then we miscarried, sadly, but got pregnant the first try after the mc. I'm not sure there's a real rhyme or reason to it, even when you do everything right.
