Serious question about raising daughters in a world full of insensitive people ..
So I’m middle eastern and it’s very common in our woman to have bushy eyebrows, unibrows and even a upper lip hair starting at a very young age.
My 3 year old has a unibrow and my 2 year old has a little bit hair on her upper lips which I know which grow as they grow.
Now, I was raised in New York City and when I was in elementary school I was always teased for having “a mustache” or getting told I need to wax my eyebrows , I didn’t do my upper lips til I started 6th grade and I didn’t do my eyebrows until 8th grade.
I don’t want my girls to ever feel insecure or feel ugly because of something that is natural.
Has anyone ever dealt with these issues?
I know there’s still time but nowadays some kids are so rude and I don’t want my beautiful girls to ever feel like they are less then anyone.
