Am I being selfish?

I’m 20 years old and I have a 7 month old daughter. We currently live in nyc but I personally hate it. I use to live in buffalo before I got pregnant and I was so happy there. I would love to move back to buffalo before she gets to an age where it will be difficult (when she starts school), but in steps. Like invest in buying a home (that I can later pass down to my daughter), transferring college over to buffalo, and then when I’m settled bring my daughter with me. Of course I’ll come down frequently to see her during the process. In terms of her father he live in nyc and sees her about once a month anyway and her babysitter ( her paternal grandmother) is going to move down south soon. Am I being selfish for wanting to follow my heart and move back?

Update: by get settled I mean taking about 2.5 weeks to get everything ready. Like picking one of my apartment options based on the neighborhood, ordering furniture to get there before I bring my child, job transfer, and picking a new college based of distance form the apartment, and find a daycare with availability.
