Getting babies ears pierced at 2 months

How do you guys feel about babies getting their ears pierced at 2 months. This is our first daughter after having 2 sons and were so excited to do some things we couldn’t do with the boys, like get her ears pierced. We talked to dr today and she said that it’s fine to get them done at any age, she’s just worried about infection if she pulls them at a young age. I agree and naturally don’t want her to get infection but she doesn’t pull at her ears right now at all. I remember my boys pulling their ears at around 3 or 4 months
