App says 5 weeks dr say 3-4 weeks

Amanda

So my app says 5+3. Went to dr this morning because of lower stomach pain and back pain. Had a miscarriage in November so I was worried to death about stomach cramps. Did ultrasound and saying I’m only 3-4 weeks. Why would app be a week or 2 off?

The app is going to get things wrong the app can't tell you what day you implanted how long it took you to ovulate and how long sperm was in your body for implantation can take anywhere from 6 to 12 days and there's really no way to tell how fast or how long it took to occur I would definitely go by what your ultrasound tells you it's going to be way more accurate than any app or your last missed period

Went in to check to make sure it wasn’t eptopic but it doesn’t matter I’m sure it was a chemical pregnancy cause I started bleeding heavily today like AF and my pregnancy test was negative this morning 🥺

I mean it has to be more than 3 weeks because there’s a sac. Most people aren’t even pregnant yet at 3 weeks so you’re more than that. Looks like 4 - 4 1/2 weeks likely. Ultrasounds aren’t useful at that stage for assessing pregnancies though as everything is too tiny and still forming.
