What was your sign of labour?

So I am 40+5 and I am having no signs of labour.
 I know to look for the mucus plug, bloody show and of course water and contractions.
 But I wanted to know if people didnt have any signs or if you had them all. 
How long before labour did you get signs?
Was it super obvious?

My sign was contractions started. There was nothing different before that.

My water broke. It was only a small amount and it happened while I was using the bathroom - it was not how they show it in the movies 😂

I felt like I had a really bad stomach ache but then couldn’t go the bathroom. I was 38 weeks 3 days at this point. This started at 12:01 then at 2:30am I lost my mucus plug, exactly how my obgyn described it (bloody booger) then it dawned on me this “stomach ache” was happening every half hour and then shorter intervals and never actually went to the bathroom. At 9am I got to the hospital at 8cm dilated. I had an appointment 2 days before and they said no sign of labor.

My first sign was my vagina felt super uncomfortable. It felt like there was a tube just laying up there and I couldn’t get it out. Nothing helped. I felt that hours before labour started!

I woke up in the middle of the night for no reason. I was like “for real, I just ... woke up?? And don’t have to pee??? What in the world is going on here...”. 
That was the very first sign. 
Ok maybe the first first first sign was my cat who has never ever had an accident purposely peed on the kitchen floor  (in front of me, mind you) the day before. She was not happy about baby and never made peace with baby either.

I lost my plug five days before my water broke. The day my water broke I was completely ravenous and wanted to eat nothing but carbs. I was jittery and was having light contractions but nothing alarming. I thought they were BH. I ended up having to be induced.

My sign was I felt like I peed myself  then 20 minutes later there was a gush. Contractions didn't start for maybe another 3 hours.

My mucus plug (no blood) came out late Sunday afternoon then Monday at around 3am my water broke.

I started getting irregular contractions and a back ache. Then my water broke but I didnt know it because it was a pinhole sized leak and i thought I was just peeing my pants lol. I started to time my contractions once I was too uncomfortable to eat or sleep. When they got to 3 minutes apart for over an hour I went to the hospital. Once I got to the hospital I found out my water broke like 10 hours beforehand lol.

None until my water broke and contractions started.
