61 days of not having my twins home with me..

61 days of constant worrying about their health..

61 days of constant pumping..

61 days of hospital visits..

being a NICU mom has been the hardest thing I have ever experienced. its not getting to see/hold/care for your babies when ever you want, watching them hooked up to monitors, machines & feeding tubes, watching them fight to get bigger/stronger/healthier, tons of tests/procedures, meeting tons of different nurses/doctors daily, tons of tears and smiles, not getting to bond like a normal parent, lots of time away from your other kids & husband, and lots of hoping that they can come home with you soon. i honestly dont think anything can prepare you for the experience but im thankful for the nurses, doctors, and other NICU moms that have helped me through it so far. i cannot wait until the day i get to bring my babies home 💕
