BACKGROUND INFO...

I’ve been ttc for 3 months. My periods are always regular and about 2-3 days long. I’m not temping, but know I should be.

1st month: only used cb advanced. Tested once on cycle day 18. It was positive (solid smiley)

2nd month: got my peak on cd 20. I started testing on cd 14 and got negatives, got a flashing smiley only 1x and the next day (cd20) it was positive. I also tested with first response opk’s and they matched.

My QUESTION/PROBLEM...

This month: I’m on cd 16. I started testing with strips on cd 13 and they were almost immediately positive. So I tested with my cb advanced, and it’s been negative. My strips seem to be going down. I was sure I’d see at least a flashing smiley this morning.

I know cb advanced picks up both estrogen and Lh...is it possible I only had an LH surge this month with low estrogen? And if so...what does that mean for my ovulation. Did I/will I ovulate?

I am using the same digital reader since I first started testing, could that be the issue? Have I maybe not hit my peak?

I’m just so confused. Should I count myself out this month?
